If you wish to experience 5.1 audio on the original PS3 or Newer PS3, Just select the audio options and ensure the 5.1 MODE is selected.

NOTE: PS3 Users and PC Users using HDMI should ensure their audio mode configuration in the PS3/Sound Options for the device is set to have LPCM enabled/Checked for 6 channel output (or more). Otherwise PS3 or PC Users will not be able to experience 5.1 audio as you cannot bitstream AAC5.1 for 99% of the products.

Additionally, due to the size of these HQ encodes, you cannot put them onto a FAT32 external drive and plug into a ps3, you'll NEED to use a media server to stream to it if you want to use a ps3 to playback. If you want a copy you can play on a ps3, like all my HQ encodes, there is a link at the bottom of this description to the much smaller, significantly more compressed version (under 4gb).

PC Users with 5.1 Surround:

Depending on your configuration, VLC should automatically enable 5.1 playback, but double check by selecting AUDIO ~ Audio Device ~ 5.1

If 5.1 isn't selected by default, and you do have 5.1 system, ensure your windows sound configuration is setup correctly by navigating to your windows control panel ~ Sound and then selecting the primary audio device followed by clicking the CONFIGURE button below, follow the steps to ensure 5.1 mode is fully enabled.

PC Users with 2.0/2.1 Stereo:

Depending on your configuration, VLC should automatically enable 2.0 playback, but double check by selecting AUDIO ~ Audio Device ~ 2.0

If 5.1 is selected by default, and you do not have 5.1 system, ensure your windows sound configuration is setup correctly by navigating to your windows control panel ~ Sound and then selecting the primary audio device followed by clicking the CONFIGURE button below, follow the steps to ensure 2.0 mode is fully enabled only.

Judas's Note:

A true BdRip, the first one for proper respect of recreating the original with pristine video and audio, video and audio at very high bitrates. Like all my previous encodes, just so much better if you are one that MUST have something fantastic looking and sounding.

The Audio is encoded that should totally surpass the AC3 640kbps core commonly found/supplied with this size of rip. However like any AAC, older equipment CANNOT bitstream AAC, which requires a complaint device that can decode and then transmit as a compliant bitstream or as raw LPCM, HDMI is your best option. The reason I use AAC is because it's a better/newer/more efficient and overall higher quality format compared to AC3, not to mention it still produces a smaller file size in the end too.

Judas's Note 2:

For a smaller, Friendlier version of this movie in around the 2gb range, it is located here:

I can't believe you did this! :O (in a good way :)) Please do the same for The Croods, an equally visually stunning movie.
The Avengers, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Iron Man Trilogy and Fast & Furious Collection Please :D
dhjudasx -

u have gone onto another level in encoding. turbo level must i say. something that i did not expect you to do.

time has come to buy another external hdd now.

this encoding is brilliant. thank for evrythng .. especially for "Judgment Day"

wont ask much now.. just that hoping u encode Scream Factory releases like Friday the 13th and Sleepaway Camp someday...
:)
oh god!
thanks your encodes are the best!
This file is about 4x the size of your original upload, but what makes is better?
quality... makes it better.

this will make a 50+ inch high quality 1080p display pop with clarity even during ultra high motion events...

it is specifically for those that demand the top end visual pleasing display of awesome and are willing to download a significantly larger file for it.

Are you planning to still upload smaller file sizes of movies? large files are great for some people but i can't add them to any collections. Your smaller rips are top notch and look amazing on a 42inch tv.
just buy large monitor/tv's folks! and you'll notice the difference.. :) if you still using laptop/desktop monitor (14" - 21") you can stick with smaller encodes.. on big screen youll notice lots of compression artifact, color banding, etc. (especially on high motion scene, dark scene, or grainy scene). thanks yo dhjudas, his small encode are the best on tpb! cheers!
Thanks a lot for this! Looks great on my 60" sharp led tv. My tv couldn't play .mkv files via usb so I can't thank you enough for encoding this in .mp4 format.
Try to do within 2GB ... dont make your uploads more than 2GB
if you can upload all your movies within 2GB
or else you will be great looser.. lol
Be like yify .. be fast but try to give quality
Quality like YIFY not to belong to this uploader.
all this guy's trying 2do here is.. cater to every1's needs by providing a HQ encodes and along side uploading movies that have a reasonable file size with really good audio and video.. which many other uploaders fail to deliver.. not to mention any names.

he never downloads.. his encodes are Original ..
also, not to forget .. that he's been stuck with other chores lately..
Yes, he's doing a favor.. and he's not a loser or gonna b1

so .. just take it or leave it
Good words ''eroticburps''
@Yonarp
stop trolling.. be kind, you want smaller encodes?? you can get elsewhere dude! theres many of it, theres YIFY, anoxmous, sc0rp, Ganool, etc. Different purpose=different sized encodes.. nuff said. btw, you can play YIFY's on your tablet.. :) gosh..
I think this guy has limted blu ray's ...thats why he is encoding same shit again and again!
Course I have a limited amount of blurays..

you have any idea how much money is involved in the current collection.

Average price of a bluray being lets say $30.... that's excluding shipping or additional costs for exclusive first day purchases or special editions.

Lets just do the math quick.

lets take just 235 movies thus far...
multiply that by $30...

$7,050 spent.

I'm re-encoding some of the same movies in a much MUCH higher quality for the simple fact of the following:

A: Several requrests for a high bitrate/quality style encode at several times the size....
B: Improvement over the older encode I did...
C: My available physical bluray collection has been significantly reduced
D: I've little time so prepping from an existing bluray rip I had done is fairly easy to do and fast.

Calling it "shit" is rather silly.

the "2gb" give or take a bit movies will continue to be available. They follow a set standard that I've preset and will show up. If they are still to big, sorry, but either find another encoder willing to drop the quality factor further than I am willing to, or download what I've provided because i'm not making special encodes specifically for any specific person.

I've shown what my 2 encode standards are now..

Primary being the 2500kbps 3 pass Excessive overkill encode using TESA/SATD... which produces a small size mp4..... and then the secondary being these recent (this torrent for example) of very very large size. 2 Options are better than just one.
well said :)
